Okavango Delta in Short

After arriving in Maun, a TLT representative will meet you for the start of your African safari and escort you through to your short light aircraft transfer to your camp in the Okavango Delta. The charter flight is a great opportunity to view the Delta from above with a chance of spotting elephant or even rhino.

You will spend the next three nights at the luxurious Kadizora Camp located in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Set beneath a stand of majestic trees along a quiet peninsula, the camp has uninterrupted views of the Delta and affords absolute privacy. Each tent has been designed in a sophisticated way using wooden furniture, Persian carpets and the best linen.

Each day will begin with an early morning wake up call followed by a light breakfast. Your guide will then take you out on your morning activity in search for the big five as well as other species like hippo, red lechwe and the secretive sitatunga. Early morning and late afternoon game activities will be broken by delicious breakfasts, lazy lunches and dinner under the stars around the campfire, with opportunities to freshen up or relax in the elevated lounge area in the afternoon ticking off your bird list for species like African skimmer, Pel’s Fishing Owl and Carmine Bee-eater.

There will be ample opportunity for you to appreciate the quiet of the Botswana bush as well as explore the wild surroundings with your expert guide on game drives, nature walks and mokoro trails. You can choose which activities you would like to experience each day, with recommendations on game sightings and the best areas to view specific species being made.

Overnight: Kadizora Camp / Delta Camp / similar

After breakfast and your morning game activity (time allowing), you will be transferred to Maun Airport in time for your onward arrangements or flight.
