With luxury water villas perched over the Chobe River, boasting 180-degree views of the river and the famous Sedudu Island, you’ll have a prime base from which to explore this exciting ecosystem. Located at the eastern tip of the famous Caprivi Strip, on the Namibia side of the Chobe River, the lodge has prime access to the river and Chobe National Park.
Chobe is home to one of the largest number of elephant in the region, making for easy and exciting sightings of this massive animal. Frequent river crossings by elephant are often made, and the sheer numbers congregated along the river banks make for foolproof photographic moments.
Guests will have three days to embark on the daily river safaris and game drives on offer, which will showcase the incredible diversity of game. This includes some 164 mammal species like buffalo, crocodile, hippo, lion, zebra and giraffe, and more unusual species like lechwe, sable, waterbuck and puku: which make frequent appearances in this scenic ecosystem.

Itinerary
On arrival into Kasane, you will take a short 20-minute road/ water transfer to your lodge, overlooking Sedudu Island. The lodge is designed in such a way to create a natural flow between the main bar, lounge and lodge areas and the private water villas. You will find it hard to leave the confines of your villa which boasts a large private deck with easy chairs and a 180-degree view of the Chobe River.
Every day you’ll have a choice of two game activities: one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, broken by a lazy lunch and siesta time in between. Depending on your arrival time on day one, you will be welcomed to lunch or high tea. After checking in and and a chance to freshen up, you’ll head out on your first game activity. Sundowners will be served on the river, most often than not, to a glowing sunset display of orange and red tinted skies. A traditional dinner will be served under the twinkling stars as you reminisce on the day’s events. Mornings are a great time to go on game drives in the Chobe National Park, when it’s still cool and game is moving about. The lighting is also ideal for photography.
