Itinerary

On arrival in Victoria Falls, a representative will transfer you by road to your first camp: Thorntree River Lodge. Set on the lush banks overlooking the Zambezi River, you will be enveloped in African-chic luxury and great service at this tranquil lodge for the next three nights. Each day, you will get to decide what activities you would like to participate in.

Amongst others, your personal guide will show you the cascading spectacle of the Victoria Falls on a guided tour, point out animals and birds on a game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park and thrill you on the Zambezi waters on a canoe safari.

When you are not on activities you will have time to unwind in your gorgeous private suite, eat deliciously prepared food on the deck with the Zambezi flowing by and drink an African inspired cocktail by the infinity pool.

Overnight: Thorntree River Lodge
Wake up to the chirps of birds and snorts of hippo on your last day in the African wild. Enjoy an al fresco breakfast as the sun rises once again over the Zambezi Valley. You will then take your charter flight back back to Victoria Falls for your onward arrangements.
Today you will say goodbye to Hwange and hello to the magnificent Mana Pools. Your charter flight and short bush drive will land you in one of the most exquisite locations in Africa: Zambezi Expeditions. This wilderness mobile camp will give you a real taste of wild Africa with comfy tents set overlooking the Zambezi River, kitted out with hot bucket showers and glowing lanterns. Evenings will be spent around the crackling campfire with your favourite beverage in hand, as hear the calls of the wild and smell the delicious aromas of a bush-style dinner.

Mornings and afternoons will be spent out on safari, exploring the heart of Mana Pools National Park. With groves of forested areas, expansive floodplains, lush river banks and open grasslands, Mana Pools is a haven for wildlife. The dappled light, backed by the blue water of the Zambezi, is a treat for the eyes. Wallowing hippo along the shoreline, elephant reaching with their trunks for Albida pods high in the trees and a pack of wild dog on the hunt as the sun sets, are all common sightings. Each day Mana Pools will showcase a new story for you to witness on game drives, guided bush walks, canoe safaris and shoreline fishing.

Overnight: Zambezi Expeditions
After a tasty breakfast, you will take your road transfer back to Victoria Falls for your scenic charter flight to Hwange. Set in the heart of the Hwange National Park, the intimate Somalisa Camp will be your home for the next three nights.

With thick acacia forests where wild dog rest to the rolling savannah grasslands where lion hunt, there is so much to explore in this wild Zimbabwe park. It’s a vast area filled with incredible birdlife like raptors and predators like lion and leopard, not to mention the mega-herds of elephant. Your expert and knowledgeable guides will reveal the African bush in fascinating ways on daily game drives and guided walks.

With a waterhole right beneath the main deck area, you will often find yourself sharing lunch or a hand-made cocktail, with elephant or bushbuck that come to drink. You are also going to want to spend as much time in your exquisite tent, taking in the surrounding bush. Plush finishes and exquisite décor demand your presence and command your relaxation.
